We visit Venice every year. This Summer of 2025. We visited the Venice art shop.
I have to say It stands out against all other art shops in Venice, due to its unique Murano glass pieces. Every turn of the head is a surprise of fantastic innovation. We fell in love with many pieces. Unfortunately we were leaving that day and did not have space to make a purchase. The friendly shop person gave us a business card. Three months later I contacted Andrea with a hopeful request…A beautiful Murano Glass ‘Weeping Willow’ plant shipped across to Scotland.

I cannot believe Andrea managed to get such a delicate & beautiful piece of art from Venice to Scotland! We love it and it’s linked to so many memories of Venice.

Not only is the store & the artwork unique. The customer service we received from original enquiry to delivery of the product and everything in between, was of upmost quality & Class.

We look forward to visiting Andrea again. The Venice art shop will be on our itinerary for all
Future trips! A must stop shop when visiting Venezia!!!

My wife and I happened upon this shop while strolling through Venice. There are many shops that sell Murano glass. We were attracted to this shop as it was not overwhelming in size or content nor was it located in a main thoroughfare . It has high quality and interesting pieces that were not in an exorbitant price range.  Andrea, the owner , was a Murano glassmaker who understands the art of glassmaking and the products that he sells. At Andrea's ‘The Venice Art Shop’ we didn't have a banal 0815 shopping experience, but a real experience. In the most positive sense, of course!

Andrea started working in a glass factory at the age of 15 and, partly with his father, produced beautiful pieces himself. He is an expert who loves glass and his profession and shared his extensive knowledge of glassmaking with us. We gained interesting insights and background information and learnt a lot.

Apart from the pleasant atmosphere at Andrea's, we enjoyed not being offered fake Murano glasses from China, but genuine goods, handmade and from this region.

Wir sind auf der Suche nach etwas Besonderem bei Andrea in seinem feinen Geschäft gelandet. Er ist selber Glasbläser gewesen und erzählt mit einer solchen Leidenschaft von der Glas-Kunst, wir waren sehr beeindruckt. Venice was my first trip abroad and meeting Andrea made a wonderful memory. I loved hearing the story of his family and how he came to glass-making as well as seeing his excellent craftsmanship displayed in his shop. We were very satisfied with our beautiful red octopus 🐙
