Andrea Frattin, 59 years old, was born on the island of Murano, famous for its glass-making tradition. Growing up in a family with a strong connection to the art of glass, thanks to his father, a master glassmaker, Andrea developed a deep passion for this art form from a young age. After years of dedication and commitment, he also became a master glassmaker, the highest recognition for those working in the field. Today, he is the owner of "The Venice Art Shop," a store in the historic center of Venice, located on "Ruga Rialto," where true glass art is celebrated. With over 20 years of experience, Andrea is also the author of an autobiographical book titled Murano Glass: Magic and Emotion, presented at the festival "The Venice Glass Week" in 2021. His work reflects the love and magic that the art of glass conveys.
